Irving Sheff now retired, began practicing law in the nineteen fifties. Irving Sheff was a founding member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and the National Association of Compensation and Claimants Attorneys (NACCA). He has served in dozens of elected positions within these organizations, too numerous to list. Irving Sheff is a member of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, a group of attorneys who represent consumer rights on a variety of legal issues through creative litigation. He was the President of the Belli Society, a recognized group of outstanding trial attorneys and recently received recognition for outstanding merit from AAJ and was the first recipient of the “Next Generation” Award.
