Last month, the MBA made a large donation in support of the Boston Lawyers House Project at the Pine Street Inn. MBA member Patrick T. Jones is at the forefront of this effort, trying to raise $1M from the Boston legal community. Douglas K. Sheff, President of the Massachusetts Bar Association, stated the following, asking members to reflect on the importance of joining this effort: “If just 250 of our members commit $1,000 (over one to two years) to the Boston Lawyers House Project, we will reach our goal… MBA lawyers positively impact the lives of others each day. We now have an incredible opportunity to make a lasting difference in the fight against one of our community’s most vexing issues: homelessness.”

*According to the MBA, Gifts of any size are appreciated, and all participating attorneys or firms will be publicly recognized.
