Sheff Law Responds to Homestead Filing in Hernandez Case

A complaint was filed in Bristol County Superior Court which seeks and order to apply Homestead restrictions to the recently sold North Attleboro property, once owned by Aaron Hernandez, who was convicted of the murder of Odin Lloyd.

There is no merit to this complaint. In fact, the complaint seeks a result opposed by the Personal Representative of the Estate of Mr. Hernandez, who has filed a motion to release all Homestead restrictions.

The complaint is an attempt to diver the proceeds from the sale of the house away from victims, such as Odin Lloyd’s family. We will fight to protect these victims of Wrongful Death and the integrity of the Civil Justice System.
